The World of Someone Impaired

SHOUT IT OUT:

I can't wait for the results of my entrance exam, its this coming Tuesday. I'll pass it, hopefully, God willing.

I've met two of my high school band mates after mass. Man just seeing those guys felt like I am back to those days of rocking out. Well we've just shared our present situations in our life. I hope we could jam again this vacation. Kasi naman ppag hindi nagyaya biglang sumisipot, pero pag ako nag set ng date wala nang yayari, tama ba naman yun? hahahaha! The day for us to play on stage awaits. . .

FINAL THOUGHT:

Sometimes its funny when we see people impaired, we try not to laugh at there disability but we can't stop to burst out our happiness. Even I myself laugh at it sometimes. I know a person who is partially deaf. She helps out a lot at home but sometimes we have to shout out the things we have to say. Sometimes I can't help but laugh because my dad's voice can be overheard from outside already and yet she was not able to hear or understand a word. Simple instructions are being prolonged to adjust to her hearing capability. It's just like an old comedy show isn't it? But what if you were deaf to the world? People whom you think you trust might stab you on your back or swear right under your nose. Saying things that can degrade your personality and reputation in front of you but you interpreted it as an act of peace; making you a fool to everyone else. Yeah, it's funny when you're crossing the road thinking that its clear but all of the sudden you got hit by a car with its driver that's been hitting the horn very loud and clear. Not knowing a single happening to some of your relatives that are having fun while you just sit at home alone eating food that you can only afford. Or let's put it this way, eating with your family thinking its someones birthday or anniversary but it was a preparation for someones death. What if you were at his or her shoes, can you survive that kind of world? People make fun of you, say things on your back and not knowing everything. You better think again of making fun of people who are impaired and I've learned my lesson about it.
